Hello everyone. Here we are with Falling Fred. This is the latest in a long line of
Fred titles. Which generally involve him, well, having a really bad day. Let’s start this and calibrate the gyro again. Basically avoid obstacles. If you bang into something you end up taking damage,
hit something too hard and you die, it’s as simple as that. You need to collect power-ups as you are
going along and fall as far as you can. Really, really fun addictive game. It
takes the kind of endless runner concept in a new direction
because the level doesn’t end until you die, so you’re really competing against
your own reflexes and how gnarly the computer is going to be at throwing random things at you, how fast
can you move out of the way and judge. Fred just bounces basically. He has no kind of other movement
other than falling and a little bit of left right down control as it were. The graphics are absolutely fantastic,
really, really nice, 3D and quite colourful. Probably more of mature title not going to want to hand this
to an eight-year-old kid with blood splatters. A really, really clever game.
