Rio 2016: Day 13 schedule and medal table

Wow, a deeply worrying developments indeed. Let’s hope everyone stays safe, and that these
incidents don’t overshadow what remains of these last few days of sport. Right especially as there’s another bumper
day of events in Rio coming up. As mentioned the women’s golf is underway,
but Park Inbee will be teeing off within the hour. Taekwondo superstar Lee Daehoon is also competing
today and looking to emulate his teammate by picking up a second gold in the event. On the athletics track Usain Bolt is looking
to complete part two of his triple-triple by winning gold in the 200-meters… before
the Brazil try to win their fourth gold medal in the men’s beach volleyball final against
Italy. Looking at the medal table not much change
today, as the U.S. of course remain top, and despite no medals for Great Britain, they
stay in second. Unfortunately, Korea’s 2 medals doesn’t help
them move up the table, as they also stay in 11th. That’s all from me, and I’ll be back tomorrow
with more news and updates coming out of Rio.
