Men’s Golf Finishes 2nd in Packed Tom Kinder Field


The Eagles carded the final day low round
of 292 and finished a close second in a packed field at their home Tom Kinder Memorial. Four Bridgewater players finished within a
stroke of each other, including Ronald Uszenski, and team newcomer Jacob Laughlin, who shot
73 on the final day to tie for 14th place. One stroke back was Jacob Sears, who shot
a 2-under 70 on the final day. Jason Spaar carded a 74 on the final day,
including a good drive to the green for a late eagle that helped move the Eagles into
second place. Freshman Jackson Soska finished in 40th place. The Eagles also fielded a strong B team, including
Alex Czerwinski, who played with Soska and both saved well out of trouble on an early
hole. Czerwinski ended up shooting a 72 in the final
round to move all the way to a tie for 18th with his teammate Sears. Brendan Draughn came in with an 80, Seth Smallwood
with an 82, Matthew Sengul posted 83, and Blake Sawyer shot 86 for the B Team.
