Golf Services

Twelve golf courses fall under the
jurisdiction of the City Winnipeg’s Golf Services. One of the golf courses is
operated by City of Winnipeg staff is Kildonan Park. Kildonan opened in 1921 as the
first Municipal Golf Course and is well known for the famous 10th hole. Here,
golfers hit over – or under – an abandoned train bridge to reach the green. In
recent years, the clubhouse and the Golf Course have been upgraded, and in 2016 a newly renovated patio was opened. Work on your short game at the par 3
Crescent Drive Golf Course. A new practice green, pro shop and lounge area have been
added at this nine-hole course – a favorite place for beginners and seniors
alike. Crescent Drive even offers special rates
for junior golfers. Here at Windsor Park you’ll find
serenity in the center of suburbia. This 18-hole course is visually appealing and offers a memorable golf experience. In recent years several feed boxes were
rebuilt, new fairway traps were added and fairway drainage was improved. Municipal golf courses are open to the public and golfers of all skill levels are
welcome. To learn more or book a tee time, visit winnipeg.ca/golf
