Edinburgh USA Golf Course, Hole 10
Edinburgh USA Golf Course, Hole 10

My name is Don Berry, and I’m the head golf professional at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. We are Robert Trent Jones’ second design course to open in 1987, when it opened it was named the second best public course in the United States by Golf Digest. Our 17th hole is our signature hole, it is
a mid-length par 4, fairly wide at the 150 mark. The key is to hit it the right distance off the tee, it is an island fairway so it is covered on all sides by water. After you select your club to hit it to the widest fairway you will have a mid to short iron into the green. The green is a peninsula that is covered on the left, the short and the right by water. Behind the green there is a bunker and there is a new addition which we just put it that is a grass wall that will repel balls back onto the green. So, if you want to hit it long go right ahead and go up that wall and funnel back to the green. There are also three bunkers on the right side of the green to catch any balls that are leaking to the right.
