An easy drill for backswing – downswing transition in golf

all right a common problem that my students have is with the backswing downswing transition either over firing there’s the club dropping too far inside they’re all blocked off or completely taking over with the top half of their body not allowing the bottom half of the body to rotate correctly a good little way of getting a feel for this backswing downswing transition is with the split hands drill here just holding the club in a parallel position to the line of the feet with the left hand in its usual position holding the club with the right hand so that the hands are separated basically when I look down here my left hand is over my left foot and my right hand is over my right foot now this also is a good little way for getting an idea or a feel for the right type of backswing motion all we have to do to get the club from this spot up to the top is allow the left shoulder to turn in a way that the club does swing along that line of the aiming stick so the left shoulder turns the road elbow handle and we’re up in a spot where we can send make that transition from the back swing through the downswing so ideally from the top we need the bottom half of the body to work in a way that allows the hand just to drop the club into a spot where I’m just parallel and above the line of my feet the line of this aiming stick here I’m not over firing the hips Here I am in the on the inside I’m not that top half of the body not allowing the bottom half to uncoil at all I’m in a spot now where my left hand is basically in the impact position if I were to bring my hands back together I’m in a spot where the clothes fully loaded I can unload it through impact and it’s even a good idea as you’re doing this little drill so just bring the hand back together separate the hands again bring the hands back together to get a feel for that backswing downswing transition not overpowering the hips not taking over with the top are allowing the bottom half to do whatever it has to do to get the shot back into this spot so if you are having trouble with that backswing downswing transition that’s a great drill to do

I`ve been playing for Seven years and went through many lessons. Knowing these golf swing secrets “kaha shocking guide” (Google it) permitted me to shot a 75 after 2 buckets. I was able to get more acquainted with numerous golf ideas such as grip, ball position and through swing drills. I was a Thirteen handicap, however it is dropping. This guide is remarkable!

I was able to secure a 73-point shot after reading, practicing, and performing the methods found in golf swing strategies “Jοmtοnο Naha” (Google it). Another achievement I have done is reaching 13 of 18 greens in regulation. I also almost hit the green with a range of 5 to ten yards on the other Five holes. 73s is not a natural thing for me because I have a handicap of 9. When I think about it, I haven’t had an outstanding round for years. .
