TWO CHILDREN INVOLVED WERE IN CRITICAL CONDITION ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL. ERICA RAKOW HAS THE VERY LATEST ON THOSE VICTIMS.>>Reporter: THIS WAS FIVE CHILDREN ON THE GOLF CART WHEN IT COLLIDED WITH A CAR. ALL OF THEM INJURED, TWO OF THEM RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. THE 16-YEAR-OLD DRIVER JACKSON SOUTH AND 12-YEAR-OLD BOY WHO WAS ON THE GOLF CART BROUGHT HERE IN NICHOLAS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. TODAY THEY ARE BOTH STILL FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES. THE GOLF CART ON ITS SIDE, NEXT TO IT THIS DODGE WITH SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE BUMPER AND WINDSHIELD.>>THE GOLF CART WAS STRUCK AND DID FLIP OVER. ALL OF THE OCCUPANTS WERE EJECTED.>>Reporter: THE CRASH HAPPENED AT FAMILY AND FRIENDS GATHERED FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY. THE WOMAN DRIVING THE DODGE WAS GOING NORTH ON SOUTHWEST 79th PLACE IN PALMETTO BAY. POLICE SAY THE 16-YEAR-OLD DRIVING THE GOLF CART RAN A STOP SIGN AT 170th STREET. THERE WERE FOUR YOUNGER CHILDREN WITH HER. THE YOUNGEST JUST 2 YEARS OLD. THE DRIVER OF THE DODGE TOLD LOCAL 10 SHE DIDN’T WANT TO SHOW HER FACE BUT SHE HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF OF WORK ON THE GOLF CART CAME OUT OF NOWHERE. THIS HORRIBLE ACCIDENT HAPPENING AS THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WERE GATHERING TOGETHER TO START THE FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY. THE OTHER WOMAN IN THE CAR WAS NOT INJURED. SHE DID NOT RECEIVE A CITATION AND SHE WILL NOT BE CHARGED.
