Good morning? This is Scott in ‘Scott Lee’s Golf Academy’ and ‘OKSWING GOLF ACADEMY’. Last time, we had completed 30 swing lessons on OKSWING. Our channel grows with your subscriptions, likes, and alarm settings. Please push ‘like’ button right now. And when you touch the screen, there are three dots in the upper right corner. If you can’t hear the broadcast in the evening, it’s designed to read the subtitles. When you touch 3 dots, subtitles appear. Please use the video as you read the subtitles. At the end of my 30 lessons, I told you if I need more swing lessons. But if I can pick a topic, I can do as much as I can. I’ll ask you a question. Do I have more YouTube lessons? Or can I give more lessons to those who come to me. Of course, 9 out of 10 will say that there are more lessons for those who come directly to me. But in reality, there’s a lot more to the subscribers. But I don’t know who’s watching this channel except for those who reply, like, or leave a comment. Watch a video from 15,000 to 20,000 or 50,000 people. But I don’t know who are watching. That’s why I give you all the detailed lessons I can offer. I gave swing lessons for the wrist, pelvis, and shoulders, but I told you to pick one of them. So you think it’s very detailed. So I’ve been teaching 30 lessons. Now I’m thinking about a lesson on swing that will do some troubleshooting lessons to solve your questions. I’ll take a lesson that will help you pick what you really want to solve. Today is 31st lesson. Are you really curious about how you can play Fairway wood? Fairway wood and Utility club are very similar in character. But why is this so difficult? And the best video in my videos is “How to play Fairway wood.” This will be quite redundant, but please enjoy listening to 31st lesson as OKSWING. So let’s start with the first lesson of Lesson 31, ‘How to Play Fairway Wood and the Utility Club’. Today started like this. Look at the shape of your utility or fairway wood please. Then the bottom of the club is round like this. It is round Irons are usually a bit round but straight and Wood is rounded like this. There are many reasons for rounding the shape of the club. It’s rounded to get out of an obstacle or rough quickly. In fact, the club’s interior is hollow, which limits its fitting. Of course, casting or forging clubs can be adjusted to fit the bottom. Wood clubs have a material called a hosel between the shaft and the head. It is sometimes difficult to change the shape of the club because you need to adjust this to correct the club. So this is the sole that I talked about. It is a feature of this club that it is designed to be shared by both tall and small people. The driver doesn’t have to, because the sole doesn’t hit the ground. I’ll show you the head again. Look please. If you’re setting up on the heel, the heel is attached to the ground. If you set up normally, the bottom of the club touches the ground. It is also possible for those who set up the ground to the toe of the club. Anyone can set up. It’s good if you know this feature. When you do setup, the toe or heel of the head touches the ground and the ball is centered in the club face. The ball will then float without touching the club face. So you are topping it. If you put the ball in the middle of the club face and setup on the heel, the ball will float a lot. You are hitting the top of the ball. When you play a wood or utility club, you must first find out where it is touching the ground. But you don’t have to put the center of the face on the ground like this. Even if you put it on a heel or toe, it can be powerful. So when you choose the Wood category, I say: You can easily buy a driver, fairway wood or utility club. The angle between the shaft of the club and the sole is called the lie angle. Since each club doesn’t have the same Lie Angle, I suggest you choose the right one for your posture. There are people who push the club to the floor when you swing. Then as I said, the heel touches the ground. But because the ball is in the middle, there are a lot of toppings when you swing. Similarly, some people stand up and play. Since the ball is in the middle of the head, it also has a topping. So when you choose wood or utility club, the most important thing is to find the setup style first. You have to find your setup style first. Next time I’ll explain to you how to actually play wood. For now, just learn the characteristics of the club please. Look at the head when you address it. Some people, as I said, almost touch the ground on the heel. Some toe, some can touch the ground in the middle. Then that part is the lowest point. The ball should be in that part. So if you find the position, try swinging. I hit and the impact is very good. The ball is good. There is no topping. I’ll also show you the fairway wood setup on OKSWING. “I’m touching the ground on the heel”
Draw inside with the OKSWING and you hit the ball. Then “Oh, the impact is pretty good!” You can think like this. So the wood should be first checked where the bottom of your club head hits the ground. I’ll let you know the second. The swing shape of the OKSWING falls inside and then produces out and in. So I adjust the ball right and left as I move my weight. When you hit the ball with the drive, you hit the wood and dare the ball go to the left? I’ll tell you to put it on the right side, but everybody who sees my channel is different, so the position of the ball can be different. I only give one reference point. Then you should do this. Try to find out where the club hits the floor as you take an empty swing. “I did an OKSWING and the club hits the floor on the right.” Then let go of your ball, considering the location and stance where the club hits the ground. And if you swing, the ball will fit well. The ball flew to the right rather than usual, but in the end it turned around and came in the middle. The ball is hit in this way. So only you know the answer. Know what part of the club touches the floor when you set up. And it’s up to you to position the ball according to where the club hits the ground when you swing. Today I’m giving you a general overview of what to consider when I’m hitting wood. The most important thing when you play wood is the current setup. Next time, when I set up, I will explain in detail how to find the locations. I just explained the whole concept. I’ll bring a utility club. surprise! I use a utility club almost as 5 wood. I’ll show you my club. Not as fairway wood but rounded on the toe and heel of the club head. Because it’s a hybrid club. It has both iron and fairway wood characteristics. If you look at this club, the bottom is arc. I tend to push to hit with the club. Look at what part of the club head touches the floor in your setup. My club’s toe is floated. The next time you swing, we’ll see where the club touches the ground. I’ll swing. It’s not a big swing. I swing with the utility club and the ball flies. Also known as the utility club, fairway woods, and hybrid clubs. Before you use these clubs, please check two things first. However, there are many cases where friends who hit the ball on the ground are giving hard time to you. So I’ll calmly explain what you might be wondering about. First of all, when you use this club, check out which part of the head touches the ground in the setup. And find out where the club hits the floor when you swing. Find the location and do your exercises please. If you think today’s lesson was helpful, please make sure to set ‘Like’, ‘Subscribe’ and ‘Alarm’. It is a big boost to our channel growth. So far, it has been Scott in ‘Scott Lee’s Golf Academy’, and ‘OKSWING GOLF ACADEMY.’ Thank you!
